Golden Retrievers enjoy waterfowl for hours with swimming and fetching too. Also, they are found to shed copiously during seasonal change and demand for fairly regular grooming.

Golden Retriever History

The Golden Retriever was originally found in Scotland in the mid-19th century.

It was during the reign of Queen Victoria that the Dudley MarjoriBanks, the first Lord Tweedmouth, was responsible for developing the breed in the Scottish Highlands.

It was in 1908 that the Golden Retriever was first identified as a British dog. Though the breed was also admired from the beginning of its history in America and its popularity really took off in the 1970s.

They began arriving in America, by way of Canada and it was the era of President Gerald Ford.
